I have always felt this keenly.
Driven by interest-based motivation and an ongoing craving for dopamine hits, those with ADHD may discover themselves spending countless hours online, ensnared in an ultimately unfulfilling cycle.
Even innocuous activities like reading the news can lead to doom scrolling, the endless and often obsessive scrolling through negative news feeds that can feel like a modern-day version of nursing a bottle.
